Summer and beaches are synonymous. However, while the beach may beckon with its cool waves and sunny rays, to your skin it’s anything but a vacation. Why? Damaging UV exposure, salty water, and sandy wind all affect your skin, compromising its natural barrier. But this doesn’t mean you have to skip the beach altogether. This is why we have created a list of things you must keep in mind to reduce skin damage and still be a beach bum all the time! Now all you’ll have to worry about is choosing the cutest Mar Brazil swimsuit and carpe diem.
Hydrate your skin -
Places near the beach can result in dry skin. Hence, carry a face mist to tackle dehydration. It is refreshing and it will keep your skin hydrated and glowing. A good facial mist consists of floral water, glycerin and essential oils so that it will have an amazing effect on your skin.
Sunscreen -
If you don’t want a sunburn on your face, then apply sunscreen just before leaving your hotel to go sightseeing. The SFP number is not as important as generously applying sunscreen. But make sure you re-apply it every three hours once.
Beauty Bag -
When you are traveling whether to a beach or the hills, you must carry a small pouch of beauty essentials that you will need time and again such as a tiny bottle of sunblock, lip balm, hand sanitizer, hand cream, wet wipes... Check the selection of beach purses on our Accessories items!
Drink Water -
Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. Water is the single solution to all your skin problems. Water helps in maintaining the metabolism of the body and keeps you hydrated throughout the day.
Don’t Forget your Hat & Sunnies -
Because most girls want to avoid premature signs of aging, we must carry our hats that we bought during the sale only to wear on our beach holiday, so don’t forget that! Also, throw in all your cool sunglasses to match your outfit all day long! These two accessories will not only transform your outfit but will also protect your skin!
Primer -
Leave your foundation at home girls! Foundations make the skin dry, this holiday dare to go bare with the perfect primer girls! A good primer will make your skin look healthy and radiant!
Lip Balm -
Most girls get too busy partying on the beach; they forget to take care of their lips. Nobody likes to return from a holiday with cracked and sunburnt lips, hence use a lip balm with SPF 15 which will nourish your lips while you sit in the sun all day long.
Toner -
Sad but true, the application of sunscreen and sweat and makeup can cause chaos on your skin surface, and breakouts tend to be unavoidable for some girls in the sun. Hence, after you get back to the hotel, wash your face thoroughly and then apply toner on your skin. The toner will help remove the leftover makeup and excess oil from the skin.
